With more than 10 years of experience, the stylists at Poochie Pet Spa in Norwood are dedicated to leaving your pups feeling their best. After a brief consultation, you can select basic grooming services and several extra services for your pet. But if you're really looking to give your furry friend the full luxury experience, you can book one of their many spa services, like hot towel body massages, hot oil treatment, honey and vanilla sugar scrubs, mud masks, their original blueberry facial or fully body massages and more.

First opened in 1997, The Pet Spa & Resort in Franklin has been a popular spot for those looking to pamper their furry friend. The full-service salon offers every grooming service you could imagine, like nail clipping, haircuts, deodorizing and more. The business also offers daycare and boarding services, with large indoor and outdoor play areas, skylights in kennel areas, beds, blankets and toys to keep them occupied.

Groomington Coat Factory is a low-volume pet salon in Midland Park, focusing on limiting the number of dogs in the salon each day to ensure all pets get undivided attention during the grooming process. The salon holds pet care consultations with all pet parents to ensure that the needs of all dogs are met, and grooming services include shampoo and conditioner, blow drying, brushing, nail trimming, ear cleaning and deodorizing and teeth brushing. They also offer fragrant deep facials and all over hydro massages to ensure your pup is fully pampered, as well as a mobile grooming unit to bring all of their services right to your door.

Guests can schedule an appointment for a full groom — including things like a shampoo and blow out, teeth brushing, a manicure and pedicure, and a body massage — or for a groom and play, where your pup can have a fun-filled day of play followed by one of their grooming sessions. Danes and Dogs Spa and Lounge opened in Jefferson in February, and it's a must-visit for those pet parents looking for luxury for their dog. There are three grooming packages, which include services like a blueberry facial, ear cleaning, nail trimming and a haircut, as well as a variety of a la carte add-ons. The facility also has daycare services available, and each pet must pass a behavioral assessment to participate to ensure the safety of all pets.

"Every pet deserves celebrity care." That's the motto that is front and center on the website of Cloud Canine Salon in Little Falls, and the services reflect that. In addition to their basic grooming services like bathing, haircuts, nail trimming and brushing, the salon offers several speciality services for your pup. This includes paw pad cream, a paw soak, a dead sea mud treatment, a hot towel wrap and a ten-minute light massage. So if you think your dog need some extra TLC, this might be the place for you.

With more than 200 locations across the country, Woof Gang Bakery and Grooming is a beloved one-stop shop for all of your pup's needs. At the store in Glen Rock, you can take advantage of their dog grooming services and choose from options like a full groom, a mini groom and a luxury bath. And once they're finished, you can browse the store's selection of premium pet food, oven-baked treats, all-natural chews, enrichment toys and health supplements.

Waggmore Pet Boutique in Sparta is a small, family-run business that is known for making their own baked goods in store with locally-sourced ingredients. The treats they offer include chicken and peanut butter jerky known as "Doggy Crack," pumpkin-turkey food topper, blueberry bacon biscuits and even customizable, shelf-stable dog birthday cakes. The store also offers self-wash stations for guests to groom their pooch without making a mess at home. The base $19.95 price for a 30-minute session includes an apron for you and dog shampoo, brushes, scrubbies, towels and pet dryers for your pup.

Wholistic Paws was founded after owners Karl and Katrina McQuilken decided to open a store that focused on providing "species appropriate" food items for pets, rather than ingredients like corn, wheat flour, molasses, sugars and more that are found in many other pet foods. As a result, both of the store's locations in Ridgewood and Ramsey specialize in hormone- and steroid-free products, as well as all-meat chews, raw food, supplements and freeze-dried meals.

Family-owned and operated, The Petcare Market in Lodi originally opened as The Grooming Shoppe in 2016, but expanded to its current state in 2021. Today, The Grooming Shoppe is still opened as part of the business and specializes in grooming services using natural products. And in the market, you can find a variety of dry, wet, frozen and freeze-dried dog food, as well as sustainably-sourced pet treats and dog toys.

Family-owned, L&B Healthy Pet Markets sells everything you'd need to make sure your pet lives a long happy life. The staff is also known for being well-versed in what products would work best for your pup's needs, so you can feel confident that you're picking the right products.

Brookdale Pet Center in Bloomfield has been open since 1994, selling supplies for dogs and other animals like cats, fish, reptiles, birds and small animals. The store focuses on providing natural and holistic pet products that closely mimic the natural habitats and instincts of each animal. With items like frozen and dry dog food, treats like dried sweet potato strips and frozen yogurt, and enrichment toys, to name a few, you're bound to find healthy items that you pup will love.

Mutts on Main has three locations in New Jersey, but their store in Denville is the place to go if you want to spoil your pet. There are also daycare services available where pets will participate in on-site activities and play in their fully-fenced four-acre field, as well as add ons like pack hikes and off-leash hikes. For grooming, each spa service includes a massaging shampoo, a blueberry facial, paw cream and finishing cologne to ensure your pet looks their best. And creative grooming is also available, where they will give your pet custom coloring and a unique design.
