WEST BEND — N’Dulge Salon & Spa owner Kym Immel celebrated the opening of her second salon location, N’Dulge Salon Suites, 1610 Barton Ave., with a ribbon-cutting and grand opening celebration Friday.

Immel said she has wanted to expand her business for a while, but she also knew she wanted to do something a little bit different from N’Dulge Salon & Spa, which is why N’Dulge Salon Suites is all private suites that can be leased by individual hair stylists, barbers, masseuses and more.

"There’s nine private suites and all the (business owners) run their own business out of it," Immel said. "Right now it is hair and nails, but we’re open to really any type of beauty profession or anything like that that would complement a salon-like atmosphere."

Currently, there are five businesses committed to the space, with four rooms available. Those businesses include Hair and More by Rose (262-208-3014), Make the Kut with Shelby (262357-4097), Nail Perfection (262-306-1011), Nails by Kyra Mae (920-267-2084) and Lavish Nails (who will open its space in N’Dulge Salon Suites in February 2025).

"So far, the girls that are in here are just loving it," Immel said. "There are four rooms available and (someone) could literally start tomorrow if they wanted."

Immel herself has done massage for 20 years and started out working in a salon setting, similar to how people who can rent a space at N’Dulge Salon Suites are starting out today.

"I just always wanted to own business, but I was 22 years old and didn’t really know what I was doing," Immel said. "But, I just loved the salon industry and I thought that massage and all of it just complements each other so well."

Four years into working as a masseuse, Immel moved into a hair salon, where she learned everything she needed to know to eventually open up her own place, N’Dulge Salon & Spa.

"(The owner) just taught me so much, and I just saw really that this would be so cool if I could do it on my own," Immel said. "That leap was terrifying, but my husband kind of guided me and encouraged me to do it."

Now, Immel has opened her second location and inside are several business owners open for business, as well.

"The girls that are here are accepting new clients," Immel said. "And, like I said, I’m available to open it up to anybody that is interested. … I love it, I love it here. It’s awesome, and I want others to love it and expand their business, or start a business, I think it would be a great opportunity."
